Privacy for Venturely

01Overview

Venturely is a private iOS application for planning, sharing, and remembering experiences. It lets organisers and participants collaborate on timelines, documents, photos, and discussions, while also giving each user a separate Private Vault for personal documents.

02Information we collect

We aim to keep data handling minimal. Depending on how you use the app, Venturely may involve:

• Account identifier information, such as the email address or Apple account-linked identity used for sign-in and app access.
• User content, including experience details, participants, timelines, shared documents, assigned documents, photos, albums, discussions, and content you place in your Private Vault.
• Support correspondence if you email us directly for help, feedback, or beta support.

We do not describe Venturely as an advertising, tracking, or data-broker service, and it is not intended to monetise your content through profiling.

03How we use information

• To make the app function as a shared experience organiser and personal document vault.
• To let organisers invite participants and control access to relevant experiences.
• To sync changes across devices and between authorised users when connectivity returns.
• To respond to support requests and improve the product during testing and release.

04Storage, syncing, and security

Venturely is designed around Apple iCloud storage and sharing models. Experience content is intended to live in private and shared iCloud databases associated with authorised users, rather than in a broad public content system run for open discovery.

• Offline-first behaviour: the app can continue to function offline and then sync additions, edits, and deletions when the device reconnects.
• Private Vault separation: Private Vault documents are intended for the individual user’s own access and are not shared with other experience members.
• Security model: access is based on Apple account infrastructure, secure invitations, and acceptance-based sharing.

05Experience sharing

When an organiser shares an experience, the related shared content becomes available to the participants included in that experience. Participants should only see experiences they are part of, while organisers manage the experiences they create.

• Shared timelines, group documents, albums, and discussions may be visible to the relevant participants in that experience.
• Some documents may be assigned only to a specific participant.
• Private Vault content is intended to remain personal to the user and outside shared experience visibility.

06Retention

Content remains available for as long as it is stored by the user or within an active shared experience, subject to app functionality, user actions, and Apple iCloud storage behaviour. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and maintain appropriate records.

07Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to personal information we hold, ask for correction, request deletion where appropriate, or object to certain processing. In many cases, the simplest way to manage content is directly in the app or through your Apple account and device settings.

08Regional information

UK & EU users: where we act as a controller for limited information such as support correspondence, our basis may include providing the service, pursuing legitimate interests in operating and improving the app, or complying with legal obligations.

Australian users: you may request access to or correction of personal information we hold by contacting us at support@rsdh.net.

09Children

Venturely is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us directly, please contact us so we can address it appropriately.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves from beta to broader release, or if our practices and legal obligations change. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app or release notes.
